SUSTAINABLE CHEMISTRY TO ADDRESS MAJOR SOCIETAL CHALLENGES
TheCHIMENE (Sustainable Chemistry for Energy)Long-Term Thematic Project (PTL) has the following objectives:
- To attract and traina new generation of high-level researchers and faculty members, andto ensure the long-term preservation of the scientific expertiseof the highest caliber demonstrated by the Cluster’s teams;
- Toenhance thesite’sappealby leveraging other competitive, high-visibility funding sources, particularly national ones (CNRS, ANR, etc.) and European ones (MSCA, ERC, etc.);
- To make sustainable developmentthe guiding principle for all supported scientific projects.
- To anchor research at the regional and international levels.
Its goal is to address the challenges of the energy transition by placing sustainable development at the center of its research efforts.
